I think you're making the common mistake of trying to see things from a flat earther's point of view, but failing to completely discard all vestiges of common sense, logic and reason.
I think that's what makes stuff like that Metabunk post (from @pepperedmunky) a bit futile - they're spending a lot of time and thought on an argument that is as easily lost as "yeah but you can prove anything with facts".
