cheap merlini aero frame

hi all, I decided to list here couple of my frames. the first one is an early cannondale caad 5. as you can see from attached photos paintwork is not perfect because bike was used as a daily commuter. it looks bit tatty but there are no dents or structural damages. dimensions are as follows: centre of the bb to top of the seat tube is 58cm, centre of the bb to the centre of the top tube is 52.5 measured in a vertical line. centre of the headtube to the centre of the seat tube is 56.5cm (ish) while from end to end it is 59cm.

photo of the bb serial no. is attached. it must be one of the early frames (2000-2001) as numbers are stamped on rather being printed on the sticker. they are worn out and not very clear but from what I can read it is:

I am bit puzzled about the number 56 as according to vintage cannondale website there should be a letter indicating a year (l or m) and then number indicating a month.

caad 5's are fantastic racing frames- very light and stiff. I am already using identical caad5 frame and finished project (full carbon fork, 105 groupset, 1700g wheels) weights approx. 8.2kg. frame on its own weights approx 1400g.

please note that the frame will come without any add ons except the fork and you can choose between columbus tusk or cannondale slice si one (maroon colour). please follow the link to see photo of the cdale fork- http://www.lfgss.com/thread117944.html cdale fork came with the frame that I am using now but Columbus one will be much better- it has oe rake, it looks nicer and it is lighter.

pricewise- £100 frame only, £120 with cannondale fork or £130 with columbus one. collection from nw10 or I can post/deliver locally at extra cost. please let me know if you will have any questions or if you will require any additional photos.

merlini stealth frame- chep & cheerful aluminium aero frame and forks, approx. size 54 (will double check the measurements). frame only weights approx. 2kg and has few scratches here and there but no dents, cracks, etc. comes with fork and bottom bracket only. £35

So is this a 58 or 56?
If seat tube center to top measures 58cm then it must be a 58 size no?
But the serial number would generally indicate frame size... Any chance you could mearsure the seat tube center of bb to top again?

just measured it again- from the very top of the seat tube to the middle of bb is 58.5cm however, i tried it against other caad 56 size frame and they are the same height

Ah ok thanks for checking. I'd thought with conventional measuring it would make the frame a 58 but i obviously is indeed a 56. Its a 58 I need so will pass.
Lovely light frames these caad5's, a bargain for someone.

middle of the bb to top of the seat tube- 56.5cm
top tube (middle of the hset tube to middle of the seat tube)- 59.5cm
middle of hset tube to middle of the bb- 64.5cm
