I need to be more realistic about the builds I'm actually going to complete and get rid of anything I'm not using...

This hub costs about £90 at SJS.

It's been built into a wheel (26" Aluminium rim) and fitted to a bike but never used so I was thinking £30 would be pretty bargainous...

  • What rim is it pls?

  • It's a bog standard 26" aluminium rim in silver. (559 X 21)

  • Cheers for the info, its not for me.

  • No worries, thanks

  • pity i fancy one of these in 700 but like have have too much stuff that i need to tweak and not enough time

  • Photos added.

  • Does it come with the shifter?
    If so dibs

  • @srocha - sorry no shifter

I was just going to use the old school trigger (HSJ762) but it works with all the fancy modern 3-spd shifters too

  • That's great, where can I pick it up from?
    Cheers

  • I'm in Ascot and work in Chertsey
I can do staines railway at a mutually convenient time.
Alternatively I can get it in the post tomorrow for an extra fiver.

  • PM'ed

  • I can vouch for the durability of those hubs / wheels.

In over 5,000km of riding on my Pashley Pronto (like the Pashley "postie" Mailstar), I only had one spoke that snapped and never had to do any other maintenance.

Drum brakes are not the sharpest, but they are extremely low maintenance.

    Fanstastic price!

  • ^ thanks for the endorsement!
