Dumoulin's not riding etc.

Bloody Eurosport app just forced me to upgrade. It won't work without location on and since I'm in Spain I now have Spanish commentary and no option to change it. :(

It was multiple snoozes: started at 91k out, woke up at 80k then again at 55k, then 22k, then 9k and then just in time to watch Lampart pop off the front for the win. The racing I did see was great, the rest of the time me and and the hounds were snoring. Good Sunday avvo, would do again xx

¡Que pena! ¿Hablas español?
You're not missing a lot to be honest, Carlton is just wittering on about duty free and tax and criticising the moto drivers.

Bertie's popped.
Obviously didn't eat enough red meat in preparation.

A season too far.

Great finish. I'm sure it said Nibali's group had a 12 second deficit on the descent, they came out of nowhere.

No entiendo mucho Espanol.
Is my most used phrase over the last week.
That and
Mas de tapas
And
Uno grande sangria por favor.

Lo siento pero prefiero comer mis filetes sin clembuterol.
Sky have the red jersey now, so they're in the position they're used to in terms of leading. I'm sure it's going to be a lot more difficult to defend it with the stages they've got coming up here but they must be confident.

I reckon I can work that one out.
I enjoyed telling the lady in the shop this evening that 'Contador es finito'. She agreed and I think said that the race was already over unless Froome crashes.
The race is on in every bar and every shop here. And it's 30 degrees every day. And there are mountains. And you can get a 400sqm house with a pool for 300k Euros. And everyone looks after their nan and granddad.
I'm not absolutely sure why I live in England.

Anyone got a link to stage highlights? Ideally more than 90 seconds.

Where abouts in Spain are you?

great stage finish, really enjoyed that. Think the heat will cause the sky train to break on at least one stage as we saw last year.

Andalusia. West of Ronda. I take it you have Spanish connections rather than just a translate app?

One mountain stage and Froome is in red. 40km TT to come.
This race seems to have a crushing sense of inevitability about it doesn't it?

I'm normally in Catalonia for the last week of the Vuelta and look forward to the Spanish commentary on TVE (even though I don't speak Spanish). It's certainly better than Carlton Kirby.
They do split screen during adverts too with the coverage on one side of the screen, advert on the other. -

Not really, my fiancee used to live there so I visited a bit and tried to learn some of the language, and I love it there.
I've never been there with a bike but among other places, I've been to Girona/Costa Brava and Asturias, and really need to go back to both of them with my road bike.

As much of a robot Froome is and as tough it is to warm to him. I think he deserves to get the double.
He only has a slim margin so its going to take a lot of work to get there though.
I predict a bear shitting in the woods.
