Good work fella.....if you feel hunger pangs when passing through Albury, just north of little hadham, stop off at the Catherine wheel, you will have passed it, and tell the guvnor, Keith, that pat the fireman said you'd be looked after! He's a top bloke, and does a mean roast beef bap!

Pressing on Clive I hope. I'm following along with many others so no pressure! Seriously good thing that you're doing and today will be tough in the weather. Forecast is better. Keep going buddy.

I can report that @WornCleat is in fine fettle today and is on his way back to London after lunch in Cambridge.
Trying to attach the photo again.

Great news. Keep on turning those pedals Clive.

Clive recounted a fantastic anecdote from yesterday.
He was waiting at some traffic lights, when a black Mercedes pulls alongside, driven by @tommmmmmm
The latter says "Did you see the Chelsea result?" then drove off, leaving poor Clive convinced they'd lost for the rest of the ride home.
Top trolling.

Have you photoshopped out a dodgy sponsorship logo on his arse?

I didn't want to put anyone off their lunch.

It's just a big black hole.

Quite like the terminator spine though.

@WornCleat
Hope today's effort feels easier than Sunday's.

I said something supportive before that. I also thought he might have Sky plussed the game and wanted an extra motivator to get home.
Great effort so far though @WornCleat, I hope today is going well too.

The logo or his arse....?

'Twas lovely to see Andy. Thanks for the photo. The kit is ghastly. It was from the Italy ride I did three years ago. The simple thing about it is that the shorts are more comfortable than any others I have ever worn and so for a ride like this: comfort over style.
Today was a huge relief. Suddenly had power in my legs. Actually enjoyed it.
@tommmmmmm I didn't sky plus out of superstition. Either that or I hoped I would be home by 4pm.

I went past before 9am this morning and so probably too early for roast beef.
Always liked the look of that place. Would be a good mid ride point of just riding one way.

Now I am feeling a little more confident I should say that I am aiming to go to LMNH on Sunday to celebrate the completion of the ride with some green tea. Would be lovely to see some of you there if you can make it to thank you for your support.
Probably from about 5pm.

Actually enjoyed it.
All the style you'll ever need

What time do you depart Clive? And from where? I've got a day off tomorrow. I'm in N2. Possibly....could....maybe...??
-
• #124
I leave at 6am from Canonbury. Have to leave that early to avoid traffic on way out and to get back at a decent hour to catch up on work.
