How much do you get to do?
I've only done it at college, if that's what you mean.
As you're competent with a stick, then a wire feed unit would be a walk in the park for you.
With a +5mm piece in the flat or horizontal positions you can turn everything up and use spray transfer mode, which is a doddle.

I've hardly done any mig, I need to spent a bit of time with it, as tig is really stupid for a load of non bike related stuff that I've ended up doing. How much do you get to do?
