Iirc there's a car park then a load of space with those metal things for you to lock your bike up to

Is it safe? I am really paranoid and I don't want to be stressed during the session. Any chance I can bring it inside the velodrome?

There are plenty of frames to hang bikes from in the track centre. Wouldn't worry about locking it, but you can if you want.

Not being condescending but as you said induction.... If you're going to cross the track whilst another session is on please look to make sure it's clear before you cross, don't underestimate riders speed and close the gate behind you. If there are several groups going around at once be prepared to wait several minutes before being able to cross safely.
Most of the time there are cyclists / staff about, I'd be happy locking my bike in the designated space by the pavilion. -

I went for the induction session today, it was so much fun!
Just to follow up on the question: plenty of space to park the bike inside the velodrome, but also lots of racks at the entrance to lock the bike.
Overall, fantastic experience!
Hi,
I booked a Track Induction / Taster Session at Herne Hill. I plan to cycle there from my home, as a warm up :)
Is there a safe place where I can park/store my bike while on the track with the rented bike?
Thanks!
