Is there a good site where I can see photos taken with the same camera + lens combination as I have? Flickr has tags for the camera but maybe not the lens as well, unless I've missed it.

I'm taking dull pictures of estates and you're taking pretty pictures of clouds - something's going on.

to be honest, this subsection on here for photography has been more inspirational than Flickr, 500px or anywhere else, for me at least. it got me back in to gear for using my camera again.

Flickr is big and easy though, still good.

Today's learning with the DF. It seems to over expose a bit more than the Olympus when left to decide using the average metering.

I'm kind of shocked at just how much these DF photos pop. It's uncanny; as if they have all the vibrance, dynamic range and colour of film but super clean and crisp.
Not to regress into techy talk, but what are the raws like to work with? Are you doing much to the images?

The files seem to retain a chunk more highlight detail than my files from the Olympus OM-D E-M1. I usually apply a preset from VSCO to get the colours how I like, then remove the grain, do lens correction. Clarity +5, Saturation +10 and tweak the shadows and highlights to suit.

Thanks... I saw him coming and was able to meter/focus OK

Strong page, especially @Rik_Van_Looy wet runner and @Well_is_it tower.
@mi7rennie photos makes me feel clucky, and that's normally a rare occurence.

@Well_is_it was the bird in the shot a happy accident or planned for ? Really adds to the photo
