Ángel Nieto RIP. -

Beat me to it. Just like with Nicky Hayden earlier this year - you spend a dangerous career racing motorcycles (Nieto's era, in particular, being when the only track safety was the odd lamppost, wire fence and solid earth mound...) and you're tragically taken riding a vehicle for leisure.
Those Derbis were classics.

Farewell Glen Campbell.
Loved the way he could take piano ballads like this and made them even more poignant.

Galveston - so evocative, that song. He was a great singer and a great session musician too, early on.

Luciano Berruti of Eroica fame :(

I somehow expected him to live a lot longer. It was easy to imagine him still riding into his 90s. RIP Luciano.

Riposa in pace, Luciano.

Farewell Stephen Wooldridge.
From the links at the bottom, it looks like suicide which seems to be overly common for retired cyclists.

Almost like a family member for Forumengers of a certain age.

Goodbye Sonny Landham.
'You ain't afraid of no man!'
'There's something out there waiting for us. And it ain't no man.'
My mum will be shedding a tear. Shelley was before my time but I do remember him as Ricki Tarr.
