  • ^^ Is it Castelli moving towards Rapha styling?
    'Sky Inside' sounds awkward.

  • in a good way.
ive always been a fan of assos and castelli and was gutted when my beloved castelli socks got ripped and trashed in a fall. i might have bought them at geoffery butlers croydon or ken bird in crystal palace. must have been a crash in training because we werent allowed to wear them in races because of the advertising.
i like the simplicity of the kit. replica without the advertising. garments with massive logos on the outside should be cheaper.
theres probably a longer version where he speaks or maybe hes the strong silent type.

@Squaredisk definitely looks like it but castelli have been in the game a long time so their archives have probably been raided a few times for style pointers from all of the new kids on the block

  • came home to this. gabba gabba hey!

  • Sportful Fiandre light would be within tax refund budget - mine's been great

  • All white jerseys are straight to anti.

  • Gabba or perfetto? I know this is a bit OT but wanted to garner opinion. Perfetto looks like a great all rounder.

  • Gabba

  • Perfetto is lighter and should be pretty good for spring, summer & fall. Gabba is heavier. I run pretty hot when riding so Perfetto paired with nanoflex armwarmers is my to go unless its below 10 degrees Celsius. hope this helps.

  • With the End10 discount code on Sigma Sport you can pick up a short sleeve Gabba 2 for £66

  • Excellent. Thanks Ronnie.

Now that's a shout! May well get a perfetto and a gabba at that price

  • This new Colombia stuff is absolute wank.

  • What were you hoping for?

  • just checking out the Shadow arm warmers and notice the description still references Team Sky wearing them during the Classics season, I wonder if they did in 2017?

  • Top job. Just picked myself one up.

  • High quality design?

  • I like the Colombia t shirt

  • Looks good to me.

Anyone have a Nimibia jersey in XL pm me.

  • You need the Archive store.

  • Just bought a shadow jersey in the sale but now thinking I should take it back and get a Gabba. Who's tried both?

  • Once you try Gabba, there is no longer a need to try anything else.

  • I already have a PTTJ which is perfect in low temps

  • I have. I prefer the Shadow because for me the fit is better. It's thinner material, and so might not be as warm as the Gabba, but it's more waterproof. I wore mine (with Shadow bibs, arm warmers, knee warmers and a Pro Team Gilet) on this year's Tour Transalp, and on the stage up the Umbrail pass which they cancelled due to bad weather I was left wondering what the problem was, while other people seemed to be in the advanced stages of hypothermia (albeit none that I could see wearing Gabbas). I like the Shadow gear. In fact, I've just bought another set of bibs and jersey. #csb

  • I have both. Before I purchased the shadow I wondered how it compared to the Gabba. Well ... the gabba is a jacket & the shadow is a jersey. Shadow is lighter, more breathable & 100% waterproof even after several hours in torrential rain. Its not especially warm but has been comfortable on tempo efforts with a base layer to 7 degrees. Lower & wetter than that Ive worn the insulated gillet over it & its been absolutlt perfect.

  • I don't particularly enjoy wearing Lycra anyway but is it just me that will now feel a bit embarrassed wearing Rapha? 70% of my cycling clothing is rapha and now I feel like I'll be wearing a big fucking ASDA BY GEORGE label on my back. I was never that fussed about rapha just liked the low key styling - feel like the sale has taken that away. It's obviously still the same kit...
