By old English you mean Saxon?
Wulf is dead common in Saxon histories so you need to check nearby street names for a theme. If former monastery land look for previous Abbotts, saints or bishops. Otherwise you could be looking for Ealdorman of an area of Wessex/Mercia associated with that part of London.
Strangely in some ways it was one of the most interesting tags I've got. I never go to Acton or Shepherds Bush so it was interesting to see what was out there.
I passed a road called "Wulfstan Street" which is suggestive of something Old English, I'm going to look it up anyway.
