No. It's much better to get the bottom of the range chain from one of the good manufacturers (which include KMC) and replace more frequently than to spooge on high end versions with no practical benefit and then trash the rest of your drive train by hanging on too long to your bling chain.

My Ultegra chain is showing 0.75mm of wear. Time to change.
