132 riders have now finished. Six of them yesterday. Five more have a very good chance of finishing today. The next two will almost certainly finish tomorrow.
And then there is the bunch of seven who we have been following. Yesterday was an interesting day for them.
#174 Hector Outeiral NunezHe rode an amazing 264 km yesterday in 11 hoursand has already ridden 47 km today. He has 671 km to go. He should finish either late on Saturday or at some stage on Sunday.
#224 Tina Nestoroska has also moved up the order from third to second but, in doing so overtook both Wiesia and Josie. A big 215 km in 21.5 hours yesterday and already 85 km today. She is around 18 km behind Hector.
Goran Wiesia and Josie were together yesterday eveing. It is always good to see riders having some company. It must be very lonely out there with no photographers going past, no one at CPs and so few other riders on the road.
#200 Goran Arsovski has had the better start of the three of them today. He has passed both Wiesia and Josie who were leading yesterday. Only 20 km behind Hector, he rode 203 km yesterday in 9.3 hours.
#53 Wiesia is only 2 km in arrears. 173 km yesterday in 10.4 hours of riding. She has already ridden 83 km today and has 687 km to go.
#165 Josie Jones leds the bunch yesterday moring but so close are the gaps that she is now sixth. She has 733 km to go. having ridden 239 yesterday but seemingly not having started yet today.
#188 Daragh Browne did 139 km yesterday in 10.5 hours. has passed CP4 and has 908 km to go to the end.
Finally #130 David Coulon is another 84 km back with 992 km to go. He rode 164 km in 10.7 hours yesterday but rode much of the night and has already ridden 116 km today. He is 45 km shy of CP4.
