What size is the mountain bike?
-
• #3
I can tell you exactly when I get back from work - but I'm 90 percent sure it's size L
-
• #4
@stinkinfeeney GT is size L - can chuck in Schwalbe marathon plus' to sweeten the deal :)
-
• #5
Sounds like it'll be too big for me as I'm 5'6" :(
-
• #6
Hmm maybe - if you're local, you're welcome to come try it out - there's lots of room for movement in the seatpost and my GF rode it about in comfort...

Interested in the Raleigh, I'm a bit far though, if I arrange a courier to pick it up would that be ok with you?

Thanks. Sorry to be annoying but would you consider selling just the frame with maybe the headset and the bottom bracket? It's just I really like the frame but I've got a bunch of bits I'm gonna change out so don't need a complete bike. If not that's honestly completely fine, I'll take it anyway, just thought if you can take even £10/20 off, you could maybe sell the bits off and make a little more? Anyway let me know so we can sort it all out :)

GT Avalanche 0.5 -
£165£140SOLDSize L
Nice condition, ridden on a few trails only - never crashed it :) second owner - pretty sure the first owner just used it for the occasional commute. There's a Selle SMP saddle on it which is slightly messed up (see extra pics link), the front padding is superglued down...
Original specs here - http://velospec.com:8080/bikes/gt/avalanche05-2005
Brand new (non-original) bits that I've put on:
FSA Comet Low Rise bars
Stolen Thermalite Pedals
ODI Longneck Pro Flangeless (you get the ends too - just didn't get round to hammering them in!)
Deity Components Fantom Stem
Vintage Raleigh - SOLD
(not measured but I'm 5'11'' and suits me well)
Don't know much about this one other than it belonged to my brother, then my flat mate - neither of whom used it!
Just pumped up the tires and took it for a spin, feeling pretty nifty and fast! Frame has a couple spots of surface rust, nothing structural according to bloke at the bike shop. Gears shifted fine and not a sound when freewheeling, which must be a good sign... Brakes are sharp but could do with some adjustment...
Cool chainring and pedals too - shinyyyy
