Ah cool - thank you, so this should then work en France? I don't need euro maps or whatever you can get with high spec Garmins? It should just show me my route as a line floating in space that I can use to judge my general direction against... like whether to turn left or right at a junction etc?
A mate has just offered to lend me his Edge 1000... is this a better option than a phone and a 200? I have a dynamo so battery life shouldn't be a concern!
Cheers again!
Hi all, I'm planning a short tour in France in a couple of weeks and am looking at route and navigation options...
If I make the route into .gpx files can I save them and use them abroad on a Garmin 200 as a backup to just follow a line? I don't need to record anything I just want to follow a route... any thoughts? I'm not too hot with technology! (I'll be using my iPhone primary navigation device)
Cheers in advance,
Matt
