Fair enough then. That's a pretty functional function.

@Alb the problem with going for Rohloff specific frames is there's not many around, off the shelf, and the ones that are available tend to be heavy duty, i.e. expedition type frames. By using something like the Monkeybone and the appropriate axle plate you open your choice of frames hugely. You still need to allow for chain stretch/adjustment though so sliding DOs, an EBB or mess around with magic gear calcs and chainring sizes etc.

I went for 650B wheels with my Pelago Stavanger and the extra 12mm width + air space turned to be useful on the gravel roads of the Russian border lands in Finland.

That's super cool. Well done.
What crankset is that? Sugino?

I think the Gucci saddle roll and Gucci Mane stickers make this bike.

I rode with a dangle and it's super practical. A cup can take up a lot of space in a bag and is an awkward shape. The fact it is bang on trend is merely a coincidence ;)

Tried the dangle myself but I just can't be bothered to brew coffee in the morning 🙁

I added a Wald Woody to my Charge Plug.
Now just need to sort out those hideous clip-on mudguards and get something nice for the saddle and I'm good.

Any route details on this trip? Sounds cool
So it reads that his dad is a road cyclist, but had a hip replacement. The dropper post helps him get on and off without having to endure the shame that comes with tilting the bike sideways to get above the saddle or climb onto things, since he'd otherwise risk dislocation of the joint. His dad's 80yo.
