I've ridden several wheel sets with this spoke spacing (Vento, Khamsin and Zonda) and none of them showed any signs of failure. I've ridden these most of this year on my 4 mile commute and they have survived London just fine. Recently given a once over at my LBS and clicky, spinny and true as can be...
P.S. I'm not the lightest rider at just under 90kg
