Tacx deva for road bike. Much better than tacx Tao or elite pro race.
Elite ciussi gel if you don't care about weight. -

Whats better about the Tacx Deva vs Tao? Honest question.

It holds the bottle better and is also easier to get it in and out.

I'm also on the look out for a similar looking side entry cage. Not much on offer it seems

Looks like Lezyne, Specialized and Topeak are mainstream, did find this from the US which looks a bit nicer https://lagunabicycles.com/product/laguna-side-entry-carbon-water-bottle-cage/
or from Edinburgh bicycle cooperative there is the Frog side entry (sounds a bit, well, wierd)
or this from Arundel http://www.arundelbike.com/product/sideloader/ -

Yeah I've seen all of those and all really nice. However, I'm looking for something a bit more durable.
Carbon does look like the only option though -

After something in titanium flavour. Have seen these before though.
I'm thinking of adding a bottle cage bolt below the 2 on the down tube. Just shift the cage down

These seem like the only ones. They just don't do it for me. Not so fancy :(

Elite Custom Race have been used by pros for years, look great on anything vaguely modern, are good enough for cobbles, and cost Β£6. Why people pay 10x more for carbon cages is beyond me.

Might go for these. Wish there was something similar to King cages though
-
• #43
Well, we tried!
If you find something let me know cause I'd love something similar to King I can use with my frame bag.

Woah! They're a bit rich for me. I think I'll just hit some standard ones with a hammer until it's side entry...
Got the Arundel Steel mandible cages on my tourer. Been perfect for years but the addition of a partial frame bag has me on the lookout for a side entry alternative.
