Thanks so much guys for all the wise words. I think it could be a go. Can I live with that paint though? maybe its an anti-theft feature.

Looks like a fun bike, but why not consider other options if you're not keen on the drop bars or the paint job? I guess the other geos might not suit as well?

Why not find a cable pull one? It'll be cheaper if you intend to run flat bar.
