It's tubular, and I was about to ask for recommendations on tough tubs. I was looking at the Tufos, but wasn't 100% sure. What would you (or anyone else here) recommend?
At the moment, there's a Conti Competition on there, and I don't think it's wise to skid that about. Also - glue or tape? I was leaning towards tape.
What's the disc then? Tub or clincher?
I've been running tubs on my dailies for a while now. There are plenty of tough tubs out there, you just need to pick the ones that are conventional rubber eg Conti Giro, Tufo S33. Then they make perfectly good everyday tyres and you can skid about on them no problem. You carry a can of Pitstop instead of a tube. Keep another tub wheel at home that you can swap out - but I do this for my commuter for hassle free changes with clinchers anyway.
