Bikepacking Tours from Manchester.

Hey all.
I'm getting bits together to start touring fairly locally both solo and with my 6 year old.
Any advice about camp sites and routes from Manchester? Not many sites in striking distance while dragging the tag along so should I get the train somewhere?
All advice gratefully received.

Transpennine maps should help . Free as well from any good bike shop. Not the ones on deansgate.

Train to Chinley then ride to Edale or Hope, lots of camping options.

Just done a bit. Got the train to Buxton then rode to bakewell, rowsley, baslow, Calver, eyam, bradwell then camped between castleton and hope. Bloody lovely. Thanks for the pointers.
