think i rode passed this as it was being sold last night. Was it by Brixton overground station around 7pm? looked cleaaaan
For the last few years I’ve made myself the New Years resolution that this is the year I’ll put the effort in to get race accredited at HHV and start racing track league. This has never happened and this bike was this year’s attempt. I’ll just never get up or be around every Saturday to get the skills training in.
As a result, this bike is now taking up space in my bedroom and I’d like it gone. It’s a tad too small for me anyway. For the sake of full disclosure, I bought it for a bit less than I’m selling it for, but also bought a return train ticket to Manchester to go collect it. It’s pretty much pristine. I’ve used it 6 times to ride the mile journey up to HHV, do a skills session, then ride back. I don’t think its previous owner had used it much either. They had ridden it in Manchester velodrome (indoor) and apologised profusely for the fact it was a little dusty when I picked it up off them. As a result of all of this, I think the lack of use and pretty decent standard of components see it being worth a bit more than the 200 I’m asking. We’ll let the hive mind judge that though.
It’s a nice bike. Light, stiff and speedy. There’s a brake hole on the fork so if you wanted to turn this into a street skidder you could do – the wheels seem to have a brake track under the paint. All the frame and wheel stickers are easily peeled off vinyl so it could go pretty stealthy. Alternatively, if you’re tempted to get into track cycling and want something that isn’t too expensive to crash a few times over, then this thing is perfect for it.

Sorry the pics aren’t amazing – no decent camera and my phone is smashed up covered in cracks. Collect from Brixton and not willing to post. Happy for people to come view with enough notice.
