that's not a real Gazelle @mattyc, Gazelle never used fillet brazing. @Diamond_Supercool, super cool shirts, never seen those!

It's a resto job. Some of the tubes were rotted through. The lugs were removed, some bits replaced and it all brazed together. Not a real gazelle maybe but it used to be :)

impressive, it has been done with a lot attention to detail, very nice. Must have been a lot of work to make it like this. Is there only clear coat on the tubes?

Hi Gaston, Yes, this frameset started life as a factory built Gazelle. If you look through some of the pics relating to this frame, you will see the original. It's poor condition needed a lot of work to breathe new life back into it. As you can see, I have not repaired the frame along the lines of the lugged style it once was. So whilst it appears a little different to it's original form, it still carries the Gazelle stamped ends and seven of its original tubes including the forks. Is it a real Gazelle? Those Gazelle cruiser tandems come up on Marktplaats about four times a week - although not in that kind of condition.

I've only ever seen one Gazelle Champion Mondial tandem though. Wish I could have bought it. Have been looking for another one ever since.

Has anyone received any good news, for your registration, at Gazelle, for a CM125 ?
I personally received an email, saying that I'm in the runner up group. So I'm still waiting for my chances, if people from the first group do not show up.

Some of my steel bike loving friends have gotten lucky and received the confirmation email. But I already saw some of the codes for framesets being sold on Marktplaats :-/

(I did not enlist as I have just bought a nice steel Jaegher.)
