That's £500 too much my man; I'm a cycle mechanic in London so already pushing the budget beyond what I can realistically afford, and if it wasn't for the joy of it, I would never be able to support this endeavor.
Suffering some mildly broke ass bike comes as part of the deal in my case, and frankly, I just want to ride some before winter hits.

Idk about dirt cheap, but definitely much cheaper. That much lower mileage one I posted was only £500 more - isn't that basically what the discs will cost you?
If you have tools, can do all the work yourself and access to cost/cheap parts , maybe. But I wouldn't at that price when for a little more you could have a much better example. Also remember when you sell it it your buyers will have the same considerations.
