Hi all, thought I would share my latest project, I bought this Giant Frame of eBay for £50, it was a bit scratched up and Pink , yes pink!! So I made the decision to go for the raw aluminium look. This soon became more of a job than I thought, I tried high strength paint stripper, didn't really touch it, ended up spending a whole week of evenings scraping and sanding to remove the paint, even wet and dried the carbon forks, turns out they were Time forks (really nice) I clear coated these with new decals, turned out great. I am really happy with the way the frame turned out and its really light to :)
Finish the build with Campag Kamsin wheels, Time mono link stem, deda zero bars, Campag groupset, Time carbon seatpost with carbon saddle, all topped of with hope skewers, headset seat clamp and spacers, Time Pedals. It is a 60cm frame and it came in at 7.4kg. I am really happy with the way it turned out and it rides really nice.
