Trailer side guard safety consultation

I'm sharing this on behalf of a friend so that hopefully no one else has to suffer the same fate as Lily, she was awesome.

I need help from as many of you as possible. Many of you will know what that one of my best friends Lily was killed in a road cycling accident involving a agricultural trailer.

If this trailer had had side guards installed next to the wheels these would have saved Lily's life by preventing her from falling under the trailer.

We have a chance to demand these side guards are made a mandatory requirement in the UK but we need your help to do this.

The Department for Transport are holding an open consultation about trailer safety and I would love as many of us to respond to get our opinions heard.
