Dov mentioned this thread so I thought I'd give you an update.
Had tons of mechanicals early doors which meant I had to spend ages in or trying to find bike shops. Planned to make the time back but the heat, my interesting route planning and having to stop and charge frequently has hindered me.
I am loving it, it's pretty brutal and is totally testing my head, body and route planning! plan to finish but have defo been enjoying a more leisurely race, with a few beers most nights 🙈
