  • Really lovely build, gorgeous to the max. Is the top tube protector necessary I wonder?

  • It's always necessary, all about the bling

  • Actually you wouldn't believe how many times the bars have swung around and hit the top tube already.
Combination of steep steering angle, lack of gear cables to stiffen it up, and more weight to the front from the brake levers, maybe... or maybe it's just me...
Never really had the issue with other track or road bikes , so for now, it's a must on this one ;)

  • Beautiful bike, for me it would have to be fixed but luckily it's just about as beautiful to look at ss.

  • Father knows best ;)

FWIW I rode SS with hoods for years and absolutely loved it. So simple, so fast and versatile. This thread makes me want to do a nice light ss build now

  • I love it.. and honestly out of all the bikes i currently have this will probably be my most go-to and well used bike. Love how it rides and with the new DA brakes on, it stops as well as it goes.

  • amazing! looking forward to seeing it : )
shame about the calipers... they were a nice touch.

  • Agreed about the calipers.. a bit gutted with that. But the dura ace work like a dream. Also on a comfort level I am glad I swapped over the concor saddle. Pretty much done on the build for now (except for the calaido bar tape that's coming) and just enjoy the ride over the summer.

  • Love this bike. Any updates on the rims? Comfortable/ok in the wet?

  • Thanks.. the rims were great, Stopping performance was also great but partially due to the DA calipers.
    But.....
I do have an update coming in a couple of days.
Namely I got the seat recovered, matching tape, a new stem and a new set of wheels for it.
Moved this wheelset over to the Bishop trackbike.

  • Your Bishop was my desktop wallpaper for a while, didn't know it was forum-owned #csb

  • This is beautiful, love that paint!!

  • Cheers, I've got a few more Q's on those rims but probably best i send you a pm.

Can't wait to see the updates!

  • dreamy. love it

  • Took a couple of photos with the new Wheelset, seat recover with matching tape and the new stem fitted.

  • Those are both so good! Saddle and tape look amazing with the paint on the Nagasawa.

  • both bikes are stunning, but the naga is still a stunning dream

  • Wow, just WOW.

  • The Nag is just jaw-dropping, both gorgeous of course.

  • acetone or ethyl acetate (available through ebay) should take them off..
