@jolyon be careful when buying - modern series Shimano chainsets take caps that are slightly larger in diameter.

Get her a city (not MTB) kids bike on 26'' wheels. To find such a thing you'll have to look outside the UK.

Sold as kids bikes but much better than the cheapo MTBs in their range. Simple, light 1x8 26" thing, was going to pick one up for my nephew but something came up secondhand.

I still think the 50cm Mixte would be too big - if you are sub 5ft, you definitely need 26" or smaller wheels.

Looks like drive supports folder uploads, so install Dropbox desktop virtual folders client thingy and then feed them to the Drive uploader?

So, they changed the colour of the basetape on Tempos from black to Velox-like white, which will look pretty annoying on my black rims.

I'm wondering if black felt-tipping them first will affect the glue.

I'm going to rattle can most of a frame in acrylic car paint - how much do I need? Looking at Hycote stuff in half-size (150ml) cans, will want to do a couple of coats. 1 can enough?

I need help from as many of you as possible. Many of you will know what that one of my best friends Lily was killed in a road cycling accident involving a agricultural trailer.

If this trailer had had side guards installed next to the wheels these would have saved Lily's life by preventing her from falling under the trailer.

We have a chance to demand these side guards are made a mandatory requirement in the UK but we need your help to do this.

The Department for Transport are holding an open consultation about trailer safety and I would love as many of us to respond to get our opinions heard.
