Perfect I am most likely set on Protone .. Infinity any good?

Too late, bought a matte black Protone from wiggle.

Haha too late but there is no glasses/helmet interface error with Bell Zephyr. It's the best helmet I've ever owned. Much comfier than the Catlike Mixino it replaced.

Will Protone solve these issues?
Yes.

Too late but the Giro Foray I've been using the last couple of months is nice and compact and doesn't interfere with my glasses or sunglasses at all. Only £45 as well.

Protone has no issues holding my fOakleys fwiw

You were 100% right, top helmet and the matte finish is nice too

Tried my luck as well in CycleSurgery for the ShopTo price match but they wouldn't do it so I'll just order from ShopTo.
Still hesitating between the Medium and Large in the Protone though so will go have another look at lunch today. The Medium fits me fine but according to the measurements I should be wearing a Large.

I'm always right. Obvs.

You've just answered your own question.

First post - any views or suggestions on the bontrager ballista?
-
• #1164
I used to have one, only got rid because I now use a team helmet. It's very good, comfy, good airflow and test better than the Evade etc. at normal speed, 20- 30mph.

The mips version I tried felt great.
What's the consensus on looks/ use as a main daily? Silly/ overkill commuting fixed, other than training rides?
Don't think people care what helmet you use and what for, unless it's a full in TT helmet...

Took a chance and ordered a Bell Stratus based on your comments.
My head is a bit big/wonky in the back and I've always struggled with finding a comfortable helmet. This is my most comfortable helmet to date, and quality/look is on point for the price.
Thank you. -

Awesome! From what I've seen of them they aren't too dissimilar from the Bell Zephyr the team are using and half the price. Glad you like it!
-
• #1168
Yeah, it's great for the price.
From my understanding it's more or less the same helmet/design, but "the Stratus lacks the dual-layer construction and the Zephyr's width-adjust option, but is otherwise similar."http://www.bikeradar.com/road/news/article/bell-zephyr-stratus-helmets-with-mips-fit-system-47979/

Giro Foray (black/red) at Halfords for £20. British cycling membership will knock another 10% off.

Can anyone comment on the usability of the sunglasses guides in the Bell Zephyr? I've not found any pics (searched IG, google) of people storing glasses in the front vents. One review says they don't really work as the vent spacing is too wide. I like popping my Radars in the front of my S3 helmet and would like my new helmet to allow me to do the same.

I use the dock at the back, but some of my team mates use the dock at the front. Depends on the arm shape on the glasses

have to say that the kask infinity has been great. you can get the stickers of for a steath look, the lid opens on a hotter day and when it's colder/winter it remains closed helping the head stay warmer as the wind does not get in the same way as with "open" helmets. the lid also keeps rain out :D
have kind of an egg shaped head and used giro previously which might help when considering the infinity as a choice.

Good winter helmet that.

It's time to retire my old Kask K50. Thinking about a Protone or something else from Kask - anyone done the same?
Was tempted to get something with MIPs but Giro seem to not fit me very well.
I need it tomorrow tho. Head shape is not a huge concern now that I have sorted what brand and size fits me, its that interface at the back that is more of an issue for me. @Cazakstan how do Bell helmets deal with glasses?
