Arf! Very good...

we used sthil oil for our chainsaws

Hmm I wonder if this stuff is as environmentally friendly as they say it is? And whether it's actually a decent lube. I used to use sunflower oil on my chain when I was a youth.

I'm sorry - can you spray that again?

we use this at work for the police and ambulance push bikes

u use it for chainsaws, cos it doesn't pollute the land your working on, and the bit of forrest i had to and prune and tidy so the horses could ponder underneath them, that was a good thing.

Sounds good.
I wonder if I can still wash it off with paraffin and chuck it all down the drain??....

My oil is brown.

I've used this for a while now, works just fine for me.

Turned into margarine and fucked my chain in half the time it normally takes. Really wanted to like this product but I've never had anything clunge up and collect road crap like it did.

call the guy and suggest he does a slightly thinner weight. i'd prefer thinner oil myself and mentioned it to him a while back. maybe more people should tell him.
by the way, do you ever clean your chain? its always better to clean it first before you re lube it. i know that other synthetics dont seem to need it but its because its washed off into fishes instead of staying put like the green oil does. clean then lube and the oil is great.

I had a similar problem last winter, but only in REALLY cold weather. Otherwise it's been fine.

I'm using their new 'White' chain lube - super dry chain wax and it seems rather good. As long as you let it dry fully before going out on wet roads it seems to stay on nicely.
It's fully biodegradable (as is the bottle) and it's beeswax in it, not paraffin wax. Will check it as it gets colder.

Anybody using this at the minute?
I'm really interested in getting the full kit ( the bucket seems about the right size for my lunch too! ), but don't want to drop 40 odd quid on a lunch box. -

I have some, bought a bike from the guy and he gave me a couple of bottles free. good stuff, would buy more

I bought the silver box with everything in it from BC about 6 months ago and it's all been excellent, especially the brush and washable sponge
Wet Chain lube has been as good as any other I've used and I like that I can use the detergent by diluting it to top up the spray bottle
No complaints at all & would buy it all again
Bloke who runs it seems wonderfully 'Fast show Lab technician' too

Interesting. Have all the formulations improved then? I have old green oil and eco grease, not terribly impressed with either but i like the concept. Not bought any in many years.

I use some of these products in my workshop. Everything's good for what I do bar the spray lube, it's a bit thick and picks shite up off the road.

Must have judging by the older comments.
I had never heard of it until Brixton started stocking it and if they are happy to carry it then it must have improved.
I notice no difference from comparable Finish Line products, but I still reckon Progold is the best, but it's like I drink it, so not massively cost effective imo

I stand corrected, my box of everthing didn't have the spray lube in it, so can't comment on that

That's good. Makes so much sense not to be shedding nasty petrochemicals all over the place.
