This can be such a nice ride. ^
It is exactly what I am currently working on. I just sent it off to powder coating as mine was quite battered.
If the forks are swapped out for some full carbon ones you have a unbelievable light sscx frameset. -

@lukas and others...
120mm disc hub idea:
I suggested this to Hulsroy as an expensive fancypants solution (but the novatec hub one he is building is also good/better https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/308389/).Maybe it can be used for something else
Someone should take a 135mm dt swiss 240/350 hub and try to fit a dt swiss 240 singlespeed freehub body. It LOOKS like it would fit perfectly but untested :)
If it fits the only thing left is to shorten the axle with 15mm in the drive side. -> 120mm singlespeed disc hub weighing ~220grams? (and with a star racket )
10speed freehub body
single speed freehub body
@cycleclinic If you have these parts in your store, would you be so kind as to try and see if the singlespeed body fits on a full size dt swiss hub? Is the interface the same?
It would be nice to know :)

More excellent work, thanks for posting!
I'll probably be going down the Novatec route due to cost, but this (with shortened axle) certainly does look like the ultimate option. Cheers! -

The single speed body az far as i know will fit a 240 hub. I dont keep the single speed body in stock any more as the last time i bought i had it over a year.

Bike thief thought it was nice too....

Does it need to be single speed specific? You could get a cheap geared frame and use either an EBB or a chain tensioner for less dorra.

Good point.

Any recommendations for some decent budget sscx wheels? Rim brake, clincher or tubeless would be a bonus
Great cranks
