It's an amazing environment to work in - bit sad when people call it ugly. Having a world-class gallery on campus is pretty great too.

Is Switzerland legitimately all alpine cabins and castles then?

Essentially, yeah :P Nah, it's just way more conservative (not saying it's necessarily bad, just boring), the only thing that might be comparable is the "Tessiner Schule".
