I'm sure this might've been discussed here before but any insight into this situation:
Went for a 5/6 hour ride on Sunday with my edge 200, working fine using a route I made on ridewithGPS whilst recording an activity all working fine. Finished the route saved the route and I saw it on my activities folder. Plugged it into my macbook to find it wasn't being recognised at first 2/3 attempts later (all after safely removing) it finally realised it was being plugged into a laptop and garmin express finally found the device unfortunately now theres 0 activities and my activity folder is busted its a Unix Executable File whatever that is and I can't open into it. Factory resets don't work. I feel like I'm going to have to re-format and go that way.
I would try plugging it into a windows machine first, alternatively if you have an android phone use an OTG cable and plug it into that and use something like total commander to get the activites onto your phone if possible.
