Obvious point: are the adjusters set tight enough? Lubricating the springs will free up the release mechanism making it easier (and, importantly, more predictable) to unclip.

Your legs are too strong, ride less until your muscles fade and you find the spds harder to unclip from to your desired level.
hi all
I tried to grease my spd's spring but accidently got some lubricant on my spds. now they unlock too easily. After cleaning the pedals and cleats multiple times I tried new cleats (same). Is something wrong with the pedals themselves or is there just some lubricant left? (does not feel like it)
Any tips on how to get rid of it?
