  • You could diy London Wales London. I'd do it clock wise rather than in the official direction if it were me, as the roads near the end were very laney and near the beginning more A/B-y.

    Other than than, the national 400 from last year was super nice - you can get to the start-ish (Matlock vs. Biggin) (or rather have the diy route start from there) by train for midnight and start with a bit of night riding... Again road may need some adaptation (the first bit round the Peak District was amazing, would be a shame to ride that in the dark)

    Edit: should have read until the end, you're suggesting LWL already.

  • I did national 400 last year, that's a great route which I'd love to do again. But family means I should probably restrict myself to the least time away possible. It would be a shame to do the first bit in the dark.
    That's good to know about LWL. I suppose I could start that at night.
