Should rename this thread?

• #234
I think it works on mine quite well, but I would say that.

Hmm, does look good there. I wonder if it's the kinda "classic" look of your CdF in general tho. Future experiments...

I think the black with help with that. How are the brakes btw?
-
• #237
Amazing, not too bitey, loads of control. Front squealed a bit at first but has settled down.
It's not like they're night and day compared to Deores or anything, but they're just so well made. Everything about them is just precise and thought out, even the spring is a nice beefy square-section thing.

Bit of progressive flap butchery required on the front. Pushing the limits of dangle

What, like these ones I have?
Matching gnar wheelset possibility though... tempting
Edit: the cleanliness of everything in that picture is making me sad

Unlikely

Is that a rubber bushing between your frame and mudguard?
-
• #245
Yes. I think it's a foot for something or other, was lying around unloved in the lab tool cupboard. Just right
-
• #246
Looks ace. Very function too.
This is my favourite iteration of this bike.
-
• #247
Thanks! I did really like it in monstercross guise, but I think this latest update suits the frame way better.

What basket do you have on there? I have the same rack (edit: similar) and am putting a wald 1372 on it
-
• #249
yeah, it's a 1372. Fits pretty much perfectly, I'll get a picture

This is great. I've been toying with putting flat bars on my tourer, this is pushing me in that direction
