If there's nothing wrong with it and there are no new features, I wouldn't update the firmware. Ain't broke.
I'll certainly err on the side of caution, but wondered if there was anything to be routinely done to it.
I would check for any rub or wear on the cables at the entry and exit points to the frame, make sure the connectors are all plugged in tightly and check the battery is still sitting well in the seatpost.
