I forget what the stuff is called, wooden effect vinyl/laminate stuff that's really hard wearing. feel like @Soul or someone was installing it.

DIY-ers. What should I replace my kitchen floor with? At the moment we have a black and white chequerboard limo or vinyl, which is getting pretty tatty and has a rip in it where someone attempted to install an oven.
I don't want tiles as I think the floor moves around too much. Not keen on wood either as have wood in other rooms and getting a match is probably difficult. So I am left with Lino / vinyl - has anyone put anything down recently that they would recommend?
