If i had this and wanted to run SS or Fixed then i would drill a hole in the excess material and dremel out, then fine finish with a file to match the non-driveside with shim removed.
If i was going to just run gears i wouldn't worry.
I guess an old frame with quirky drop out specs when made, i assume the drive side dropout was a fraction cheaper for the mass buying power of Giant.
I just discovered that my Giant Peloton has non symmetrical dropouts. I have never seen something like this.
One has a shim and the other one got some "extra material", however it looks like it can be cut so to make them symmetrical.
So my question is can I cut/trim droptout?
