Cracked open a bottle of Siren/Elusive Brewing 2 Up Barley Wine that I snagged on the way out the pub last night. Marvellous. Quite light in the mouth, almost sour, but with a long, cocktaily finish. Lots of rich fruit and spice and something a bit like a gin and tonic in there too. Would recommend

If any of you are after the Weird Beard Follow the Worms (Agave Chili Stout) or the Beavertown Barrel Aged Appelation, the London Bridge Oddbins has them in stock.

Was about to set out then checked their website:
Beer Stocks
Please note beer stocks are very low. It is advised not to travel far to the festival as we may close early. Please check the facebook and twitter feeds for more information. -

Well last entry today is 16:30 and it closes earlier at 18:30 so you'd be disappointed. I still have some leftover tokens from Thu. Doh!

Guinness Original is rather tasty.
I picked a few cans for tonight and fear I may finish them before the curry arrives. -

Anyone make it to the Trillium tap takeover at Beavertown last weekend? Beer was very good but queue times of around and hour and a quarter each round tend to suck the fun out of things. Cloudwater DIPA takeover at the Kings Arms E2 on Thursday was much better. 6 different CW DIPAs to tease against each other

^ looked good, tho their Scorcher & Brown Ale tried lately both a bit ordinary.
In other news, a must try. https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/saugatuck-neapolitan-milk-stout/150040/
Cold from Fridge very drinkable and true to the ice cream flavours!
