Wonder what thinking the riders have done about finishing tactics. I suppose those going for a win would have calculated potential advantages of losing a night's sleep against the slower pace/poorer decision making from sleep deprivation. i.e. If Bjorn can stay within 100km of skinny until the last day might he try and skip a sleep to close the gap?
I'd expect them to go into greater sleep deficit on the run in - you don't need / want to finish the race fresh. I would expect both Bjorn and Skinny to get a decent sleep tonight, but we might see Bjorn in particular riding through the following night.
Skinny is far enough ahead that he can have at least 3 hours with out losing his lead, + whatever Bjorn has + another hour or two for being faster. So he will probably sleep
