Hmm, I can only put you down to be one (of many these days, sadly) of the type of well known eBayers who attempt to sell their goods using the hit or miss practice of encouraging buyers with very low starting prices on their high quality items in the hope of having the auctions take off (which often happens, but not here) and then in an unprincipled manner refuse to sell items which don't go near the high prices they'd expect (I've left negative feedback for several of these people, and have seen many negs in other's f/b pages). Of course, on this occasion you've actually decided to sell the items in question to me, but it's only due to the reason below...
You've slighted a reasonably priced, organised sales thread selling excellent condition items, because of your undoubted petty attitude. The majority of people- and I feel almost certain you yourself would have been in their shoes- are doing similar business on the site, and they're not being boringly pestered like this. In fact, a similar thing has happened to me on this site on a previous occasion- I can now only feel it's what's happened here is that a certain clique on this site (these types of sites are sadly clique prone) has decided to put their nasty-minded heads together and get cynically calculating, to the effect that they'd take out a pettiness based campaign against me, seeing as they could only be frustrated in their own sales threads when they've found a non clique person like myself with quite a few threads consistently using fair pricing and getting obvious success (and I don't doubt, drawing away some clique shoppers from their 'proper' in-crowd solidarity supporting shopping areas- their own threads) which they have to put a stop to...
Tedious, and I'll tell you straight out that I'll be trading here and enjoying the like minded cyclist atmosphere of these sales threads no matter if a weird minority/clique happens to mar it. The normal, thinking everyday bikers reading this thread will see that comments like yours simply don't happen unless it's for some personal-type reason, and will ignore it- except for the fact that you've damaged the FUN of the place.
Shame on you.
Hmmm...
I believe this gentleman purchased the pair of Sun Mistral rims, advertised here at £20 each, from me on eBay in June this year for the grand sum of £3.20 (for the pair).
Likewise, the Suntour XC hub, advertised here at £10, also purchased from me in June for £3.20.
