Is this the right thread to ask what people bring to eat? Especially vegetarians? I was about to reply with a list of the meat snacks I take then read your vegetarian bit... for any reasonable length tour, though, I would focus on saving some places that look good for buying lunches etc. on maps then picking stuff up as you go along.
Yeah, I figured that might be best, those Holland and Barrett oat bars are almost 500 cals each so a few of them for emergencies and get on with it. Might bring own coffee, just to be cool.
