the thing that gets me with games like that (destiny, division) is ultimately you're putting in all these hours to get what essentially is just a slightly different number in an algorithm to do what you were just doing a tiny bit faster. but by the time you have it you've played the content so much that increase in speed is never quite enough to offset that it's still doing the exact same thing. typically it breaks my spirit and the game is dead to me at that point.
sadly the realisation only lasts until the next game comes out and the cycle repeats.
