Went through 2 pairs of the brevet gloves in 4 weeks (second one was a week old). The seams tore like the leather gloves above.
Would not recommend them at all. Got a refund instead of a replacement after the second pair went bust. Bloke in the store even said he'd rather not give me another pair.

Partner had the same with the Brevet Shorts, 2nd pair seem to be holding up alright though

Almost destroyed my second pair of classic mitts, gifted my way at Xmas. Only one stitch left holding the right palm leather/pad in place now :(

Ask for a repair?

• #29157
I've had repairs done before on items that weren't on my purchase history?

Then I shall give it a go!

I sworn on these but they kept falling apart and then apart, form no function. The £20 'wrong Rapha logo' (@amey, 2016) I used for two years since have to be replaced by the spare pair from the drawer soon as it seems you can't wash the stench out anymore.

Not the oddest thing in one of your posts.

I don't think you need to worry about correctly tagging Amey in this thread, he probably checks it on the half hour regularly.

They won't repair gloves. Or at least not while I was in Customer Service/Repairs.

Don't use white mitts

A query for the hive mind, if I may...
What's are the differences between the pro team softshell and the classic winter jacket? I know the PTS will be cut higher in front and the CWJ has pit zips, but are they same weight fabric? And how heavy is the fabric compared to the old softshell that was discontinued?
Thanks!

Classic winter = oven
PTS = PTJ is better
-
• #29168
PTJ only available to RCC members these days, though?

Ooof.

I've had gloves repaired previously, but many moons ago. Was gonna send my GT gloves off also. Anyone confirm if they repair or not nowadays?
-
• #29171
I've tried with a few post-crash Classics and they wouldn't/couldn't save 'em, ripped right through the suede snot-away bit.
-
• #29172
Not excluded from the repairs list. GT gloves maybe easier to fix than classic mitts?
-
• #29173
Gloves can be repaired, it's just very dependant on what the damage is...
-
• #29174
Please remove all severed fingers before sending in.

Couldn't the fingers be sewn in as a prosthetic?
Gloves not on my order history are unstitching, would repair service still kick in? If not will DIY.
