Must admit I ride my bmx in London traffic. Brakeless, freewheel. But I can stop pretty quickly and don't ablctually go that fast.
Foot retension on that ss sounds like a joke! Don't see the point -

Thing is I'm in Bournemouth. Dorset isn't exactly know for it's lack of hills.

Remember seeing a guy tackling the spice route with a brakeless SS, using a skateboard-style dragging feet on floor technique to stop. Can't believe he didn't come a cropper on his first ride like that.
Also remember he had nice Phil hubs, for some reason.

Company have come back and said they have tracked the vehicle by GPS (I didn't get the reg.) and they will come back to be with their intentions. Seems very pro and like they are taking it serious-like.

Well that's rather unexpected. I thought you'd get the 'nah mate, nothing we can do mate' etc.

Actions speak louder than words. If I don't see the twat crucified on Grays Inn Rd so I can deliver some pithy words on my way home, ill be disappointed.

Result, of sorts.
Russian roulette crosses my mind with phoning numbers on the side of, at least, smaller business vans and cars - y'never know when it could turn out to be Shit-stain McGhee behind the wheel who owns the business and answers the phone...

Last of my enjoyable 27 mile each way commutes today. (Only did one direction because had too much to haul back). Will really miss it. 10/10.

Woke up with utterly horrendous beer farts, public transport for me then.

Definatly i would sugest a tightly packed hot and stuffy Tube journey, eating an egg sandwich is optional.

first non-rainy commute since returning from hols, saw 3 more cyclists than rainy days. EDIT : makes 4 in total including me.
still feel sluggish despite my alpine climbs of the last 5 weeks, perhaps its the 3 times a day pastry habit i picked up..... -

Was that you on the N line between Tufnell Park and Kentish Town?
Jeezzus.... -

Not guilty. Overground, central line, DLR.

Classic moment on coldharbour lane, cycling with son on road, approaching pedestrian crossing (lights are green) hear vehicle accelerating some distance behind me. I move more central to the road as I don't want them overtaking as we go through the islands. Cue beeping, driving up inches behind me, only to overtake seconds later once we'd gone through the pinch point. Typical face of someone who'd completely snapped, screaming from within their van at me as they went past. Couldn't hear them but all seemed really pointless.

I've taken to videoing everyone I see on their phones while driving and then roadsafe-ing. Feel like a right cunt but loving it.

Yeah. No results so far.

I commiserate on the pointlessness.
e.g. this morning: gliding down City Road past the Angel crossroad, minicab reverses out of car park in front of me, I swerve around him and continue on my way. He leans on his horn and calls me a wanker. Yes, that's right, I am a wanker, it would have been more sensitive of me to have politely ploughed into the car you'd placed in the middle of my path...

I enjoyed watching one nodder absolutely lose his shit with another one today for not overtaking on the right. Called him a fucking idiot etc. Then proceeded to go on the wrong side of the road, ride his bike over a pedestrian island to get to the front of the traffic, stopping far in front of the red light and corresponding white line. Like whats going on in your head dude?
Edit: Rider A undertook, rider B called A a fucking idiot then B rode like a fucking idiot

On my way home I met these two characters, walking pace, taking up the whole thing
She crashed into the back of him at the traffic lights, I did laugh -
• #17899
Does this kinda thing really annoy anyone else, i see this a lot for some reason, people on mobility scooters taking up bike lanes, or "driving" in the middle of a road creating huge traffic jams. I envy how little fucks they give tho

Nah, i think it's good
Whyyyy? I laugh to myself when I see people with only one brake let alone none. We're cycling in London not on a fucking racecourse; do they realllly weigh that much? Fuckwits.
