  • Tbh, the biggest problem with spray.bike is it's durability. It chips and flakes away pretty easily.

  • I used some Montana gloss lacquer and it hasn't exactly stood the test of time. It probably wasn't a good coat.

    I think with patience, proper technique, and decent setup/materials you could achieve a really good result. I gave up lacquering because I found it difficult to achieve an even finish. Probably because I was doing it outside with 20-25 km/h wind.

    Back to the original problem, presumably air is getting into the aerosol flow which would suggest you haven't shaken it enough or there's an obstruction in the nozzle. I shook it for 5-7 minutes pretty vigorously. Ooo er, etc.
