Ive seen a few more on instragram, I thought they were just co-incidence, thats every off putting
i've seen maybe 10 or so, not something that i'm really concerned about but still keeping an eye on the dropouts every now and then. have had mine for over a year now and always kept my rear so tukt as it should be, nothing to do with the issue of breaking but purely aesthetics and nimbleness.

Dunno what to make of that. Kind of makes me wish I'd bought a Straggler....
But.. on the other hand-3 year warranty on the Wolverine?
Pain in the ass if it fails, and more so if you break your face but how many people ever keep a bike that long anyway? I'd need to ride mine first too, which I haven't because I'm sick as a pike.
Shitbags.

one guy here in helsinki bought a wolverine because the straggler was such a shitty ride :D

yeah, but if you're out riding off road you don't really want your dropout snapping in the middle of nowhere-at least Surlys are overbuilt for a purpose!

yeah but life's too short to ride shitty bikes
i'm still betting on mine not being one of the bad ones (ツ)_/¯

Cool! Confuses me how that would fit on the inside of the fork though. Does it run super close to the spokes?
-
• #164
It's to the outside, on one of the fork eyelets.

Mounted dynamo system with new wheel and luxos U yesterday with Surly Nice rack in readiness for winter, and was blessed with a glorious autumn day for my first real ride in a year because of being ill. The rack is meaty but Wolverine still feels like riding a limo and very stable.
Looking forward to exploring the impressive cycle routes here along the Saale and Elbe rivers, just the kind of gentle riding I need to get fit again although it's so flat here that the wind can be a total cunt when you're exposed to it.

every time I see an orange Soma I wish I'd held out for one instead of going for the Goth black : /
kind of feel like I'm riding the bike equivalent of this atm
I'm 5'7 and I ride a 54 (Photo when it was first built, Saddle has changed to a B17, Post to a Thomson, got some flat pedals)
