More weight. You want the overall bike to be as light as possible.
I have never had a happy freewheel experience.
My novatec disc cx wheelset on the other hand has lasted 4-5 years and has only had new bearings ones with at least three full cx seasons. = I have a lot of faith in this novatec hack :)
